Thanks to all our stalwart workers, parents, students, teachers, my wife, and the custodial staff for making the Pedals for Progress collection so enjoyable.
We beat the temperature with 122 bikes; we also tied our record with five sewing machines. So far we have turned in $1,975 and I have $20 in my pocket and a few more promises of donations.
For all those who haven’t yet gone to You Tube, please do and search for Pedals for Progress. The nine-minute video presentation really explains everything so well. Thanks to DebbieMiller and Jenn Kamm who used the video at Monmouth Junction to show all their kids. What a great idea! All schools should consider doing this either at a centralized location or in classes. It will work for teachers or for students. Take a look.
Thanks also to our donors like the South Brunswick Police Department and PBA, the Sentinel, and to Tim Sweeny, Gerri Davies, and Madeline Daniels, who helped with communication.
