Career in data security
    PLAINSBORO — Stephen Drew Tomlinson died at home this past week. He was 50.
   Born in Aurora, Ill., he moved with his family to Princeton in 1961, where he grew up and spent most of his life. He later lived in West Windsor and most recently moved to Plainsboro.
   He had a long career in the field of data security and recovery.
   He attended St. Paul School and the Princeton public school system. He graduated from C.W. Post College, Long Island, N.Y., where he still holds the record for the longest field goal at 52 yards.
   He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed golf, baseball and airplanes.
   He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ann, Margaret Jean and Carolyn Joan; former wife Trisha; brother Michael P. Tomlinson; sisters and brothers-in-law Lea Clark of Mount Airy, Julie T. and Anthony Carey of Wilton, Conn., and Catherine T. and John Earnhardt of Simsbury, Conn.; and nieces and nephews Andrew and Timothy Carey, and Madison, Hannah and Jack Earnhardt.
   A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
   Calling hours will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
