180-Turning Lives Around, Hazlet, will conduct 40-hour training courses for domestic violence response team (DVRT) volunteers in two locations: Oct. 6 at Belmar First Aid building and Oct. 27 at Hazlet Police Headquarters. Volunteer work with police to provide support, information and referrals to victims of domestic violence at police headquarters. Applicants must 18 or older, have access to transportation, have a valid driver’s license, be willing to serve on an on-call basis, and submit to background investigations and fingerprinting.
