Spider tale, book buzz at Edison library in August

The Edison Public Library is currently holding Books ‘n’ Bugs, a contest that will run through Aug. 29 and is open to children in preschool through grade six. Each week a different bug clue will be given. Children who identify the bug, bug character or book title correctly will be eligible to win a prize. The contest will run in all branches.

Registration is ongoing for the following programs:

“Spin a Spider Tale,” open to children 2- 5 years old with parent/caregivers:

• 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 31 at the Main Library

• 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 1 at the North Edison Branch.

Book Buzz, open to children 2-5 years old with parent/caregivers:

• 1:30 and 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the North Edison Branch

• 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Main Library.

Family Time: Children’s Bug Film Festival• 1 p.m. Aug 15, at the North Edison Branch.
