Mrs. Gentile, 58, of Parlin, died July 25, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Bayonne, she was raised in Marlboro and had lived in Englishtown before moving to Parlin. Mrs. Gentile was predeceased by her husband, Eugene John Gentile, in 2006, and by her father, Charles Robert Stroby. Surviving are five sons, Michael Lamb of Middlebury, Conn., Eugene Gentile of Streetsboro, Ohio, Frank Gentile of South Amboy, and James and Joseph Gentile, both of Manalapan; her mother, Eileen Stroby of Parlin; a brother, Robert C. Stroby of Middlebury, Conn.; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services were held at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
