Princeton dentist
Dr. Jack L. Roemer of Princeton, a dentist in Princeton over 40 years, died Tuesday at home. He was 74.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a Princeton resident for the past 44 years.
Dr. Roemer graduated from Brooklyn College and New York University Dental School.
He was a consultant for the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry and was an examiner for the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners.
He was a member of the Mercer County Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and American Dental Association.
He served as a captain in the Army Medical Corps.
Son of the late Max and Bertha Roemer, father of the late Philip B. Roemer, he is survived by his wife, Marion Plaxen Roemer; son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Grace Roemer of Princeton; daughters and sons-in-law Michelle R. and Glenn Schoen of Doylestown, Pa. and Shari and John Pflueger of Austin, Texas; brother Sidney Roemer of Alpharetta, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing.
Burial will be private at Princeton Cemetery.
