The Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699 will hold its monthly meeting at 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at the post home, Jernee Mill Road, Sayreville.
The auxiliary is participating in Project Phone Home by collecting old used cell phones. The donated phones will be sent to several communications technology companies, which, in return, will arrange for U.S. soldiers overseas to receive calling cards to phone home.
