Monmouth County Audubon Society will hold a bird walk 9 a.m. Sept. 20 at Tatum Park, Red Hill Road, Middletown (rain or shine).
The bird walk will be led by Bob Henschel, president of the Society, who works for the Monmouth County Park System at the Manasquan Reservoir. Attendees will walk a portion of one of the park’s trails looking for birds. Henschel and Audubon members will also discuss migration and help attendees learn to identify various birds. Participants should bring binoculars and field guides, and should dress for the weather. Pets are not permitted.
