Kathryne Eleanor (Lehrfeld) Reeves died Monday, Aug. 25, after a brief battle with cancer at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 91.
Mrs. Reeves was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and later lived in Manhasset, N.Y., before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Township, in 1985. She was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank P. Reeves, in 1988. She is survived by her son, Frank P. Reeves Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Ridgefield, Conn.; five daughters, Kathryne A. Horbund and her husband, Max, of Closter, Patricia Reeves of Upper Montclair, Maureen R. Christensen and her husband, David, of Upper Montclair, Susan R. Blessing and her husband, Eric, of Bronxville, N.Y., and Margaret Post and her husband, Edward, of Upper Montclair; eight grandchildren, Frank III, Christian and Caitlin Reeves, Kate, Megan and Elizabeth Post, and Caroline and Sara Blessing; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y.
