Hopewell Valley News
We welcome letters to the editor and urge readers to voice their views in the Letters to the Editor column.
Letters should be typed and signed, and should include the writer’s address and daytime telephone number. It is our policy to print the name and address of the letter writer. The telephone number is for purposes of confirmation only and will not be published. We reserve the right to edit letters and to limit length and frequency.
Letters must not exceed 500 words. If necessary, word counts will be made and the writer requested to submit a shorter version. All letters must be submitted by 3 p.m. Mondays. Writers should call us at 466-1190 to make sure their submissions have been received and to confirm authorship of letters. Only confirmed letters will be published.
Mail letters to Ruth Luse, managing editor, Hopewell Valley News, 52 E. Broad St., Hopewell, 08525. Letters also may be faxed to (609) 466-2123, or e-mailed to: [email protected].
Those who e-mail letters should proofread their submissions carefully, so the first copy sent is the accurate one. Multiple copies of the same letter could result in the unintentional use of the incorrect version in the newspaper.
