The first graduating class of Manville High School the Class of 1958 will hold its 50th class reunion on Oct. 11at the Mia Sorella Restaurant, North Main Street, Manville. Calling all grandparents A grandparents’ support group is now forming for any interested grandparent. It will encompass areas such as lack of contact, etrangement, general grand parenting issues and other topics of interest to the group. Manville schools open. Today is the first day of school at all Manville schools drive carefully.
Main Street Dance, located at 45 South Main Street in Manville, is offering free dance classes, face painting, games and prizes at their open house from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be a live performance at 6 p.m. For more information, call 698-2157.

Single Mothers Helping Single Mothers A new support group for single mothers meets at Chuck E. Cheese, Bridgewater Promenade the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The goal is to become the best parents possible through education, group support, group discussion and networking. Looking ahead
Harvest Home Dinnerwill be offered Manville Reformed Church, South 5th and Pope Streets, at noon Sept. 14. The cost is $12 adults, $6 for ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and under. Take outs available at a cost of $12 adults, $6.50 for ages 6 to 12 and offers chicken, ham, potatoes, corn and dessert. Reservations are required for eat in or take out. A golf outing sponsored by North End Volunteer Fire Co. 3 will be held Sept. 19 at Bunker Hill Golf Course, Princeton.
