Mr. McQuade, 64, of Red Bank, died Aug. 26, 2008. He had resided in Staten Island, N.Y., and Middletown before relocating to Red Bank. Mr. McQuade was a longshoreman at Howland Hook, Staten Island, retiring in 1979. Following his retirement, he acquired several patents on his inventions. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosemary; two daughters and one son-in-law, LynnAnn and David, and KerriAnn; two sons and daughtersin law, Donald Jr. and Alicia, and Sean and Denise; a brother, Patrick; and nine grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s Chapel, Middletown. Entombment was at Fair View Mausoleum, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
