The Carl Lutz Foundation, the American Hungarian Foundation, the Jewish Historical Society of Central Jersey and the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County will sponsor an exhibit and lecture series titled “Carl Lutz and the Legendary Glass House in Budapest: The Swiss Vice-Consul Who Rescued Jews During the Holocaust” Sept. 7-14 at the Museum of the American Hungarian Foundation, 300 Somerset St., New Brunswick.
A reception and opening lecture, “Diplomats of Neutral Countries in Hungary and the Holocaust,” are planned for 2-5 p.m. Sept. 7.
The remaining featured lectures are “Diplomat Heroes Who Rescued Jews in the Holocaust,” 3 p.m. Sept. 10, and “Personal Experience and the Holocaust in Hungary,” 3 p.m., Sept. 14.
