John Palazzo, 19, of Gemini Drive, was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana after the vehicle in which he was a passenger was pulled over for drifting over the centerline on Route 206 at 8:13 p.m. Aug. 20.
Mr. Palazzo was taken into custody after he admitted having marijuana in his backpack, police said.
Mr. Palazzo was processed and released.
Matthew Kein, 19, of Merritt Drive, who was driving the vehicle, was issued a summons for failure to maintain lane.
A representative from Tri Delta Plastics, on Cougar Court, reported that someone sprayed a fire extinguisher on the interior walls and floor of a storage trailer sometime between about 4:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 14.
The representative also reported that someone had sprayed graffiti on the trailers sometime between Aug. 8 and Aug. 10.
In addition, someone had sprayed the fire extinguisher and thrown empty plastic bottles around during the July 4 weekend.
Elizabeth Andruszko, 24, of Manville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report an accident after a one-car crash on Weston Road at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 17.
Police said that when they arrived, Ms. Andruszko’s mother, Klara Konopka, 57, of Manville, at first claimed to have been driving the vehicle. She claimed a deer jumped out and she lost control of the car.
After police found a credit card with Ms. Andruszko’s name on the front seat of the car, Ms. Konopka admitted that it was actually her daughter who was driving the vehicle, police said.
Ms. Konopka was charged with hindering and filing a false police report.
Police found Ms. Andruszko at her home, and she was taken into custody after she failed several field sobriety tests. At police headquarters, she was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.23 percent.
New Jersey law defines a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher as intoxicated.
Ms. Konopka and Ms. Andruszko were processed and released.
The owner of the Grub Hut, in Manville, reported that someone stole a stainless steel grill from his stand at the Hillsborough Rotary Fair on Route 206 sometime between 11 p.m. July 26 and 5:30 p.m. July 27.
According to the owner, after the end of the fair, he returned to his stand in the early morning hours of July 27 to pick up his equipment, but left the grill there. When he returned at 5:30 p.m., the grill was missing.
The grill was valued at $1,200.
Bastian Bach, 26, Michael Bayer, 25, and Tobias Nowak, 23, all of Regents Court, were charged with violating noise ordinances after police went to their townhouse on Regents Court several times for repeated complaints about a loud party at 2:14 a.m. Aug. 23.
Police said they had responded to the location for noise complaints three times, at 11:52 p.m. Aug. 22, and 12:31 a.m. and 1:33 a.m. Aug. 23.
Mr. Bach, Mr. Bayer and Mr. Nowak have a court date of Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. at the municipal building.
Stephen Seltzer, 18, of Skillman Court; Benjamin Farah, 19, of Columbia Commons; and Thomas Kinney, 20, of North Carolina, were charged with underage possession and consumption of alcohol and trespassing after police responded to a report of four men drinking beer in woods near Bateman Way.
Daniel Knief, 21, of Amwell Road, who was with the others, was charged with trespassing.
The four men were taken into custody after police found them with four open bottles of beer and three closed cans.
Mr. Kinney was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of Hillsborough, for $265 and $81. He was released after he posted bail.
The four men are due in Municipal Court at 3 p.m. Sept. 9.
