BORDENTOWN CITY — Helen Day Addis, 86, of Bordentown City died July 28 in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
She was born in Hedding and had resided all of her life in the Bordentown area. She was the office manager for the medical practice of her son, Dr. David J. Addis in Bordentown.
She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church where she taught in the Sunday School program.
Wife of the late John E. Addis, she is survived by two songs, David J. of Chesterfield and Donald E. of Apex, N.C.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dorenne Addis Simonson of Nashua, N.H. and Deanna and Carl Binns of Scott Depot, W. Va.; a brother, William Earle Day of Brevard, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Amanda Pattavina, Noah Addis, John and Nicole Binns, Joselyne, Duncan and Brenna Simonson and Kierra and Langden Addis; five great-grandchildren, Alex Ounjian, Dillon, Bailey and Jack Pattavina and Aidan Hudson and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and Requiem Eucharist will be offered Saturday at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 130 Prince St., Bordentown with interment in the Christ Churchyard.
