Palmer B. Uhl

   Born in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Palmer) Beverley.
   She graduated from St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Va., and from Bradford Junior College.
   She resided in Princeton since 1957. Upon arrival, she taught at All Saints Nursery School for over 10 years. She was an active and past member of the Garden Club of Princeton, the Present Day Club and Women’s Investment Group.
   She was the beloved wife of 56 years of Harrison J. Uhl Jr. In addition to husband, she is survived by her sons, Harrison J. Uhl III and William B. Uhl; a daughter, Palmer B. Uhl; a daughter-in-law, Dorinda Uhl; and a grandson, William B. Uhl Jr.
   Mrs. Uhl came to love the family home in Westport, N.Y., on Lake Champlain, where they spent their summers and where she and her husband met in 1949. She was able to return there this summer.
   She has been blessed with a close, loving family and dear friends for over 50 years.
   Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Church, 33 Mercer St., Princeton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
