HIGHTSTOWN — Ronald L. Pawson, 61, died Aug. 31 after a lengthy struggle with multiple sclerosis.
Born in Adrian, Mich., he was a resident of the East Brunswick and Hightstown areas most of his life.
He was a graduate of Rider University and was an accountant with the IBM Corp. of Dayton and Washington, D.C.
Mr. Pawson was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed coaching Babe Ruth Baseball in Lawrenceville.
Son of the late Willard L. Pawson, he is survived by his mother, Doris of Eustis, Fla; wife Barbara Pawson of Robbinsville; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Richard Howe of Robbinsville; son and daughter-in-law David Pawson and Patricia Grewell of San Mateo, Calif.; brother Douglas Pawson of Eustis, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and Claude Stevens of Harlem, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and caregiver Ursula Caldwell.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the funeral home and again Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
