The West Windsor Environmental Commission, West Windsor Farmers Market and Friends of West Windsor Open Space will host an Environmental Education Fair at the Farmers Market on Sept. 20 for citizens, governmental agencies, corporate exhibitors and regional business to show opportunities to make West Windsor and the greater Mercer County area more environmentally sustainable.
The organizers of the fair, which has a theme of “Greening West Windsor,” seek participation from the broadest possible range of non-profit organizations, educational organizations, corporations and small businesses.
Those bringing exhibits to the event will be asked to show off their particular approach to tackling climate change, reducing greenhouse gases, minimizing waste, and limiting negative environmental impacts from day-to-day life. Fair organizers seek additional participants.
Exhibitors will be charged a $50 entrance fee, which gets them a 20-by-20-foot space in the Princeton Junction train station parking lot where the fair will be held. Interested parties can contact Heidi Kleinman at (609) 716 – 8094, or at [email protected].
