A vandal stole the Merion Place street sign from the post at the corner of Merion Place and Lawrenceville-Pennington Road between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 6, police said. The sign was valued at $50.
Someone scratched the driver’s side door of a 2004 Acura belonging to a Myrtle Avenue resident while it was parked outside the victim’s home between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 6 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 7, police said.
A Laurel Wood Drive resident reported the theft of his unlocked bicycle and his bicycle helmet that he had left outside TJ’s Pizzaria on Main Street between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 5, police said. The bicycle was valued at $300 and the helmet at $20.
Two cars belonging to the Lawrence Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership on Brunswick Pike were damaged by vandals between 9 p.m. Sept. 2 and 7 a.m. Sept. 3, police said. A vandal scratched the trunk lid on a 2009 Ford Mustang and removed a dealership license plate from the car, and the windshield on a 2008 Ford Focus was damaged by a piece of wood that had been thrown into it, police said. Damage to the Mustang was estimated at $1,500 and damage to the Focus at $500.
Vilma Robles, 35, of Liberty Street in Trenton was charged with shoplifting for taking a necklace valued at $219.99 from Lord & Taylor at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 4:27 p.m. Sept. 2, police said. She was released on $2,500 bail.
A Trenton resident reported the theft of her 1996 Honda Accord from Lot B at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Sept. 2, police said. The car, which was valued at $1,500, was recovered in Trenton the next day.
