Daniel Rembelles

   NORTH BRUNSWICK — Daniel Rembelles, 59, died Monday.
   He lived most of his life in Manville before moving to North Brunswick in 2002.
   He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years until he retired in 2004. He also served his country in the Marine Corps and was stationed in Japan during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he joined the Army Reserve and retired as a master sergeant in 2005.
   Mr. Rembelles loved traveling, wood-carving, photography, music, and gardening.
   He was a member of the Sacred Heart Drum Corps, U.S. Marine Drum Corps, the Civil Defense League, the Veterans of Foreign War, Manville Gun Club and American Legion.
   He was a parishioner most of his life at Sacred Heart Church until he moved to North Brunswick. There, he became a parishioner at St. Mathias Church, where he volunteered his time with the annual carnival festival.
   Son of the late John and Elizabeth Rembelles, he is survived by wife Evelyn Lim Rembelles; ex-wife Dorothy Rembelles; children Christina and husband Garrod Lands of East Windsor, Michelle, Christian, Daniel and Robert Miller, and Danielle, Michael and Ava Basilone; stepchildren Roel and Joycelyn Nacional, Meilanie Nacional, Joseph Jurina and Michael Nacional Jurina, Maryann, Benedict and Mark Gratil, and Mina, Oliver and Owen Flores; and sister Catherine Gregor and husband John.
   The funeral will begin at 8:15 a.m. today at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, followed by a 9 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Church, Manville. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
