Evan Anderson, 20, of Monitor Lane in Tallahassee, Fla. was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol at 12:34 a.m. Sunday, after being stopped on Prospect Avenue. Mr. Anderson was released to Princeton University Public Safety.
Alexander Thornley Jr., 24, of Makesfield Road in Morrisville, Pa., was charged with contempt of court at 4:22 a.m. Saturday, following an investigation of a motor vehicle crash on Stockton Street. Mr. Thornley had active warrants from Toms River Municipal Court with a cash bail of $675. He was released on bail.

Someone smashed the driver’s-side window of a car parked in a lot near Mercer County Community College between 8:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. on Friday and stole a Yuvi 750 GPS unit valued at $300. The victim was a resident of Lincroft, according to police.
Someone smashed the front passenger’s-side window of a car parked in a lot near Mercer County Community College between 1:10 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. Friday and stole a Garmin GPS unit valued at $150. The victim was a Trenton resident, according to police.
Someone stole an English horn valued at $6,500 from a music room at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South sometime between June 19 and Sept. 4, police said.
William Alvino, 50, of Trenton was charged with shoplifting after he tried to steal a $160 Kodak digital camera from the Wal-Mart store in the Nassau Park shopping center on Saturday at 10:42 a.m., police said.

Someone smashed the driver’s-side window of a 2006 Honda Odyssey parked in a lot at Princeton Forrestal Village and ransacked the vehicle sometime between 11 a.m. and midnight Friday. Nothing was stolen, according to the victim, a Massachusetts resident.
Someone smashed a passenger-side window of a 2004 BMW parked in a lot at Princeton Forrestal Village and stole an iPod MP3 player valued at $600 sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The owner of the car was a Plainsboro resident.
Michael R. Lieberman, 20, of Princeton was charged with underage driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after police found him to be intoxicated while investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Sayre Drive tennis courts at 11:25 p.m. Friday. Police said Mr. Lieberman was arrested, brought into headquarters and eventually released to a family member.
