Paula Coll of Lambertville PTA
This past Wednesday evening, Lambertville Public School held our welcome back picnic at the gazebo adjacent to the school.
Mother Nature provided gorgeous weather, and with the help of many dedicated community members, the event was a huge success.
Our most sincere thanks go out to the Union Fire Company for their generosity and dedication to not only the school but also the entire city.
Bob Hayes and his crew cooked for hungry students, parents, staff members, school board members and city officials for three hours and wouldn’t even take free desserts in trade!
We also thank Paul Cronce and the Public Works Department for sprucing up the park so Lambertville residents could enjoy the outdoor space at its best.
Thank you to the sixth-graders who volunteered their time to organize games and activities for all the children at the picnic.
Many dedicated parents and caregivers of LPS students donated delicious side dishes and desserts as well as their time to decorate, serve, clean up and recycle.
Many hands truly lighten the load, and we are certainly fortunate to have so many people joyfully giving of themselves to make this community event so relaxing and enjoyable for all.
