Darlene (Panos) Forrester, 59, died Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Haven Hospice Facility at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Edison.
Born in Jackson Heights, N.Y., she lived in Spotswood for more than 50 years. She worked as a tax preparer and self-employed tax consultant for more than 25 years. Ms. Forrester was a member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood.
Her mother, Annamae (Krempf) Panos, died earlier this year. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas; three daughters, Laurie Rupp and her husband, John, of Bordentown, Lisa Bonick and her husband, A.J., of Jackson, and Lynn Forrester-Russo and her husband, Alert Russo, of East Brunswick; her father, Thomas Panos, of Helmetta; a sister, Barbara Krug of East Brunswick; and three grandchildren, J.T. and Sophia Rupp and Andrew Bonick.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 18, from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Immaculate conception R.C. Church, Spotswood. Entombment followed in Holy Cross Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven Hospice at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, 65 James St., P.O.
