Emily Petitt MacGuigan

   Emily Petitt MacGuigan, 89, of Pennington, died Wednesday in Chandler Hall in Newtown, Pa.
   Born in Trenton, Mrs. MacGuigan was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, Class of 1938, and had been employed with the State of New Jersey, Department of Community Affairs.
   She was a member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Hamilton Square, was a past Sunday school teacher, a member of their choir and the Mercerville Sunshine Club. She was past president of the US Navy League, Roebling Alumni and VFW # 3525.
   Predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Margaret Kane-Petitt, her brothers, Raymond, Jr., Frederick and William Petitt, her sisters, Louise Wood and Elva Reed, and her sister-in-law, Flora Mae Petitt, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Doug Patrick of Deltona, Fla., and Peggy and Andrew Fritz of Queen Creek, Ariz.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Carla, and grandchildren, Daniel and Barbara MacGuigan, all of Pennington; a sister, Betty Sylvester of Melbourne, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Marian Petitt of Manchester; brothers-in-law, Don Reed of Quincy, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral service will be private under the direction of the Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood Ave., Trenton.
   Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
