Jody Dyette, 26, of Somerville, was taken into custody on outstanding criminal and traffic warrants from several jurisdictions, totaling $1,315, on Sept. 9.
Police reported receiving a call from the A&P on North Main Street 1:14 p.m., reporting a customer who attempted to buy $400 worth of groceries with a fraudulent check.
Police reported stopping Ms. Dyette in the parking lot. She was released after posting bail on the warrants.
At 1:19 p.m. Sept. 9, a Hillsborough resident came to police headquarters to report that his 1993 Buick Century was scratched while parked in a borough lot on South Main Street on Sept. 5.
Scratches to the driver’s side door where estimated at $100 of damage.
A North Second Avenue caller reported seeing a boy egging at houses on Sept. 9.
The incident was reported at 3:13 p.m., and patrols reported speaking to the boy about cleaning up the houses.
A South Main Street barber and beauty shop employee reported the theft of $500 from the cash drawer at the business Sept. 9.
The theft was reported at 5:18 p.m., and an investigation is ongoing.
Police responded to a report of a fight on the corner of Brooks Boulevard and North Seventh Avenue at 2:48 p.m. Sept. 11.
Police reported that two 13-year-old girls and a 13-year-old boy were transported to headquarters and released to their parents. The matter was transferred to the county.
Lorraine Martine, 46, no address given, was charged with trespassing and criminal mischief Sept. 11, after police received a call about someone breaking a window at Riccadonna’s Home Improvements on South Main Street.
The incident was reported at 9:46 p.m. Ms. Martine was transported to Somerset County Medical Center for extreme intoxication.
Christina Bowman, 27, of St. John’s Street, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Sept. 12, after police stopped her on Wilhousky Street, for crossing the center line.
The incident was reported at 1:51 a.m., and Ms. Bowman was released to a friend after processing.
The owner of Northside Lounge reported that someone was throwing coins at passing cars from the second floor of the building Sept. 13.
The incident was reported at 12:31 p.m., and patrols reported speaking to an 8- year-old and her parents about ceasing the activity.
Julian Serrato, 21, of Huff Avenue, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 10:23 p.m. Sept. 13, after hitting a curb on Kyle Street.
Police receiving a call about a reckless driver on the road, and, while investigating, received a second call about an accident.
Patrols reported smelling alcohol on Mr. Serrato when speaking to him, and administered sobriety tests.
Mr. Serrato was released to a family member after processing.
Kasene D. Watson, 37, of Bridgewater, was charged with third-degree burglary and theft at 3:27 a.m. Sept. 15, after a caller reported seeing someone walking up and down the driveways on South Fourth Avenue.
Police reported that $1 in cash had been taken.
Mr. Kasene was transported to Somerset County Jail after processing.
