East Windsor

   Police reported the theft of a gray 1994 Plymouth Acclaim from the parking lot of 50 Millstone Drive between 1:20 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12. The vehicle was valued at $300.

   Jayson O. Massiah, 29, of Old Bridge, was charged Sept. 12 with burglary and attempted theft. Police said they responded to the 1100 building of Brookwood Garden Apartments at 11 a.m. after a woman reported exiting her bedroom and encountering Mr. Massiah standing in her apartment. Mr. Massiah then ran out through the back sliding glass door, police said. The victim provided a detailed physical and clothing description and police stopped Mr. Massiah, who was standing in front of building 400, police reported. Nothing was reported stolen.

   Police reported a burglary to a black 2007 Chevrolet CK1 in the parking lot of Gold’s Gym on Route 33 between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sept. 2.
   The driver’s-side door lock had been damaged and a black Joseph A. Banks wallet valued at $50 containing about $10 cash, forms of identification and several credit cards were reported missing, police said.

   Christi L. Raymond, 18, of Monmouth Street, was charged Monday with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and several other offenses.
   Police said they saw a 1992 teal Volkswagen Jetta make a left turn from Woodside Avenue onto Route 33 East without using a turn signal at 11:50 a.m. Once stopped, police observed a glass smoking pipe in the driver’s-door side compartment, police said. A search of the vehicle revealed a small plastic baggie containing marijuana under the passenger seat, according to police.
   Ms. Raymond also was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia, failure to signal and possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

   Mahesh Krishnan, 25, of Canterbury Court, was charged Sunday with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
   Police said they observed a silver 2001 Toyota Avalon occupied by Mr. Krishnan parked in the lot of the 700 building of Windsor Commons at 1:20 a.m. Mr. Krishnan saw police approaching him and immediately attempted to walk away from the vehicle, according to a police report. Officers approached Mr. Krishnan and the vehicle and observed two small clear plastic baggies with marijuana in them, and loose marijuana on the center consul, police said. And a search of the vehicle revealed four prescription pills for which Mr. Krishnan did not have a prescription, police said.

   Jorge O. Vivar, 27, of Trenton, was charged Sept. 13 with driving while intoxicated and several other offenses. Police said they stopped Mr. Vivar at 1:30 p.m. on Twin Rivers Drive for failing to stop at a stop sign. Three open bottles of beer were observed on the rear passenger side floor, police said.
   Mr. Vivar also was charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to stop, failure to signal, open alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended drivers license.

   Emilio Caprio, 32, of Jamesburg, was charged Sept. 13 with disorderly conduct and several other offenses.
   Police said they stopped a white 2004 Honda Odyssey after observing the vehicle swerve and hit the curb on Route 130 at the entrance to the Wendy’s restaurant. An investigation revealed Mr. Caprio had grabbed the steering wheel and pulled it away from the driver, resulting in the vehicle swerving and hitting the curb, police said. The driver was not charged and no one was injured.
   Mr. Caprio also was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath samples, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane of travel, open alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.

   Ana L. Martinez, 51, of Twin Rivers Drive North, was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated and several other offenses. Police said they stopped Ms. Martinez at 11:20 p.m. on Disbrow Hill road when they observed her exit a parked vehicle and urinate.
   Ms. Martinez also was charged with refusal to submit breath samples, reckless driving, careless driving, driving with a suspended license and urinating in public.

Hightstown

   A 16-year-old boy from Princeton Arms Apartments, Cranbury, was charged Saturday with escape, aggravated assault on police, theft of moveable property, disorderly conduct, littering, defiant trespassing and resisting arrest.
   Police said they saw the boy throwing a bicycle over the bridge on Main Street, into Peddie Lake, at 10:18 p.m. He ran away as police investigated and tried to identify him but was quickly apprehended, police reported. After being taken into custody, he ran away from police while being escorted and handcuffed, and escaped through various yards along Main Street, police said. He was not found until he turned himself in the following day with his parents, according to police.

   A 16-year-old boy from Princeton Arms Apartments, Cranbury, and a 17-year-old boy of Gardenview Terrace, East Windsor, were charged Saturday with criminal trespassing. Police said the two boys were found in a residence on the 100 block of Williams Street when the homeowner returned at 11:25 p.m. They entered the residence via an open window, police reported, but nothing was found to be missing.

   Bilaal Chaudhry, 44 of Manalapan, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to inspect and possessing a fraudulent inspection sticker. Police said they stopped him at 6:34 p.m. on Rogers Avenue for having an expired inspection sticker, which was later found to be fraudulent. His blood-alcohol level was .12 percent, according to police.

   Justin Deck, 22, of Canutillo, Texas, was charged Sept. 12 with operating a commercial motor vehicle while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to maintain lamps and not having required mud flaps. Police said they stopped Mr. Deck at 11:03 p.m. on Mercer Street for having a tail light out and missing a mud flap on the Freightliner tractor he was driving. His blood-alcohol level was .04 percent, police said.

   Abel Duenas, 50 of Fairfield Road, East Windsor, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, having expired registration, careless driving and reckless driving. Police said they stopped him at 1:23 a.m. on Wyckoff Mills Road after seeing him cross the double yellow line and drive in the opposing lane of travel. His blood-alcohol level was .11 percent, police said.

   A fugitive recovery agent turned Felicia Terrell, 42, of New Brunswick over to police at 3:08 a.m. Tuesday on a $1,172 criminal contempt-of-court warrant from Hightstown. Police said she was also found to have the following active traffic warrants with subsequent amounts: Deptford, $278; Hamilton, $79; Piscataway, $1,165; Englishtown, $1,000; and Seabrook, $5,500. She was transported to the Mercer County Adult Correction Center in lieu of bail.

   Fabio Bernadino-Casas, 53, of Toms River, was charged Wednesday with driving with expired registration, unlicensed driving, violating touring privileges, being an uninsured motorist, possessing a fraudulent government document, and exhibiting a fraudulent government document. Police said they stopped him at 6:18 p.m. on Mercer Street after a random plate check revealed his registration was expired. Once stopped, he was also found to be uninsured, and showed police a fraudulent Peruvian driver’s license, police said.

   Security personnel on the campus of the Peddie School came to police headquarters at 6:52 p.m. Monday to report theft of a laptop computer. The victim told police that someone stole the laptop from their backpack between 2:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. while on the campus.
