Media fails to question Obama

I encourage New Jersey residents to consider some questions about Barack Obama as we move toward the presidential election in November. These are tough questions that, to my knowledge, no one in the media has asked Sen. Obama.
First, why does Sen. Obama associate himself with University of Illinois professor William Ayers?
Mr. Ayers and the domestic terrorist group Weatherman were responsible for 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S. Mr. Ayers made the following statement in 2001: “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.”Mr. Ayers also said, referring to the United States, “What a country. It makes me want to puke.”
Why does Sen. Obama associate himself with Pastor Jeremiah Wright Jr., who uses the name of God in vain while standing at the pulpit? I was under the impression that church is supposed to be a place of reverence. Sen. Obama only disassociated himself from this pastor after he began his run for the presidency. Is this what he truly wanted, or was it a smokescreen to garner more votes?
Why all of a sudden is Sen. Obama’s wife proud to be an American? What was the problem with her patriotism before Sen. Obama stepped into the spotlight? Was she ashamed of this country?
Why did Sen. Obama select Sen. Joe Biden, a man with 36 years experience, leaving us with the impression that Sen. Biden will be running the country? Is Sen. Obama not comfortable enough to lead this country? He should be directing the vice president, not the other way around. Could this be another Cheney/Bush role reversal?
Finally, why is Sen. Obama getting a free pass from the media? Where are the tough questions that make him sweat? Where are the controversial questions that the media seem to have stored up only for Gov. Sarah Palin?
What is this dramatic change that we keep hearing so much about? As a citizen of this country, I would like to hear his explanation as to why he has associated himself with such people who are the complete opposite of the image that he is portraying.
I believe that only Sen. Obama has the answers to all of these questions. We, in this country, deserve more than fancy speeches and sophisticated rhetoric. I think this country deserves answers from Sen. Obama, not empty promises and platitudes.
