HILLSBOROUGH Dorothy D. Figel died Sept. 16 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was 70.
She was born in Bayonne and was a resident of Manville for 63 years before moving to Hillsborough two years ago.
Mrs. Figel was an administrative assistant for the Borough of Watchung for 10 years, retiring in 2006.
Surviving are her husband, Frank S. Figel Sr. of Hillsborough; a son, Frank S. of Montgomery; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted Sept. 22 from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
