Katherine Brosco 
   NEW HOPE — Katherine “Kay” Kilroy Brosco of New Hope, formerly of Lambertville, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, in Doylestown, Pa.
   Ms. Brosco was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church of Lambertville.
   She owned and operated Oral Ceramic Art Dental Laboratory in Doylestown and Fountainville, Pa., with her late husband, Jerry. For many years, she was the executive secretary at John F. Kennedy Landscape Architects in Lambertville and formerly was employed by New Jersey Manufacturer’s in Ewing.
   She was a longtime member of the Lambertville Volunteers Senior Drum and Bugle Corps, serving as business manager, drum major and color guard captain, a member of Soroptimist International and West Amwell Wonders.
   She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Moonan Kilroy and widow of Gerald “Jerry” Brosco.
   Surviving are her son and his girlfriend, Frank Kramer III and Tina Serra of Ringoes; a stepdaughter, Denise Brosco of Albuquerque, N.M.; her in-laws, Thea and Joe Giuffre of Methuen, Mass., and Rie Brosco and her partner, Naomi Segal, of Philadelphia; a nephew, Joe Giuffre Jr., and his wife, Heather, of Haverhill, Mass.; and a niece, Donna Giuffre Cohen and her husband, Jay, of Pompano Beach, Fla.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday at the church. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.

Michael Thumann 
   WELLSBORO, Pa. — Michael E. Thumann, 58, died Monday, Sept. 15, after a long battle against cancer.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Thumann lived most of his life in Hunterdon County and Bucks County before moving to Wellsboro in 2004.
   He was a 1968 graduate of South Hunterdon Regional High School.
   He was an early member of the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad.
   He recently was employed as a sales clerk in the gun department of Gander Mountain in Williamsport, Pa.
   He was a former member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Lambertville and a member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Wellsboro.
   Mr. Thumann was the son of the late Rosemary Venettone Thumann and Henry Thumann, father of the late Jason Michael Thumann and brother of the late Mary “Pinky” Allen.
   Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Regina Dillon Thumann; two sisters, Rita Belmont and Lisa Voorhees, both of Yardley, Pa.; a great-aunt, Helen Papa, an uncle, Eugene Venettone, and an aunt, Rosemarie Zarlengo, all of Lambertville; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. Burial followed in Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery in Delaware Township.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.

Jacqueline Urbish 
   BERKELEY TOWNSHIP — Jacqueline D. Urbish, 74, of Berkeley Township, mother of the Packet’s circulation director, Steve Urbish, died Monday, Sept. 15, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton.
   Born in Llondovery, South Wales, U.K., she came to the United States in 1953 and lived in Perth Amboy before moving to Berkeley Township in 1991.
   Mrs. Urbish was a bookkeeper at Bankers Savings in Perth Amboy.
   She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Berkeley Township, where she was a member of the church’s choir. She was also a past member of the Holiday City West Variety Club, Women’s Club and the Bocce Club.
   She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frederick Urbish; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Jacqueline Urbish of Columbus; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Steve Bekesy of Port Reading; and five grandchildren, Brian, Amy and Paul Urbish and Emma and Sara Bekesy.
   The family received friends Sept. 18 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Boulevard, Toms River.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday at the church. Burial followed at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, Pa.
