EAST WINDSOR — The Township Municipal Utilities Authority recently introduced a nearly $5 million operating budget for next year.
The $4.97 million budget was introduced at the authority’s Sept. 18 meeting.
Executive Director Joe Sokol said this week that residents’ rates would remain the same next year under the financial blueprint.
The budget represents an increase of more than $300,000 from last years $4.6 million fiscal plan.
It now moves to the state for review before coming back to the MUA for adoption. Mr. Sokol said he does not expect the MUA to take action on the budget until November.
