If you have moved within the county since you registered to vote and have not re-registered, you have the right to vote by provisional ballot after completing an affirmation statement at the polls. Your provisional ballot serves as a registration form.
Voting eligibility. To register to vote in New Jersey, you must be a US citizen, at least 18 years old by the date of the election, and be a resident of the county for at least 30 days. You are not eligible to register to vote if you are serving a sentence or on parole or probation, as a result of a conviction of an indictable offense under state or federal law.
Mailed Absentee Ballot applications for Mercer County residents wishing to vote in the general election must be received by the county clerk in Trenton by Oct. 28.
