Fletcher, Sharpless, Reynolds and Reddy featured in next matchups
Former three-sport star Missy McCloskey (Bruvik) and former two-sport star Kirk Webber have advanced through the first round of the Princeton High’s All-Time Greatest Athlete contest.
McCloskey, who was a standout in field hockey, basketball and softball, garnered 87 percent of the vote to defeat former lacrosse and field hockey star Heidi Faith in a first-round matchup. Webber secured 69 percent of the vote for a victory over former three-sport standout Buster Thomas.
Two new head-to-head matchups are now underway, as former track and field stars Stephan Fletcher and Peter Sharpless face each other in one matchup. The other contest will pit basketball great Bram Reynolds against former wrestling star Ian Reddy.
