A Hudnut Lane resident reported his rural mailbox was damaged between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday when the mailbox was removed from its post. The resident was able to restore the mailbox to its post, police said.
A Richmond Drive resident reported being awakened by the front doorbell about 3:46 a.m. Friday. The resident turned on the outside floodlights and saw a white male in his 20s wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt standing in his driveway. The suspect fled on foot to the street, entered a vehicle and drove off, police said. A check revealed that a rear sliding glass door screen was ajar and that a detached garage had been entered through an unlocked door. Nothing was missing and the house was not entered.
Marco Jara-Sinche, 28, of Princeton was arrested on warrants issued by East Brunswick and North Brunswick municipal courts after his car was stopped on Route 206 at the Hillsborough border about 3:14 p.m. Thursday for an equipment violation, police reported. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and having unclear license plates and was released after posting $491 in bail.
A Montgomery resident reported Thursday that two of his bank accounts were breached and two unauthorized wire transfers resulted in the theft of $25,219, according to police.
Two persons were injured in a two-car collision at the intersection of Griggstown and Willow roads about 4:55 p.m. Thursday. Police said Lakshmi Ankem, 40 of Montgomery, driving on Willow Road in a 1997 Toyota collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Ralph Patrick, 70, of Belleville. Mr. Patrick had stopped for the stop sign on Griggstown Road and did not see the other vehicle as he entered the intersection, police said. Ms. Ankem and her 7-year-old daughter were taken to University Medical Center at Princeton on complaints of neck pain, police said. Mr. Patrick was charged with failure to stop or yield. The Ankem vehicle was towed from the scene.

Abigail D. Abramson, 21, of Princeton, was charged Thursday morning with shoplifting two necklaces, a T-shirt and hosiery, valued at a combined $110, from Kohl’s department store in Nassau Park shopping center, police said.
Shannon Eilenberg, 35, of Maple Shade, was arrested early Friday morning after police said they observed her car weaving near the intersection of Meadow and Tollhouse roads. She was charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and driving while intoxicated.
Two vehicles were damaged at the Princeton Junction train station during the day Friday. A 2004 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the Wallace permit lot was keyed on all four doors. A 2005 Toyota sport utility vehicle parked in a Station Drive pay lot was keyed on the passenger side.
Louis A. Pedretti of Forest Hills, N.Y., was charged with possession of marijuana the evening of Sept. 30 after officers said they were called to the Ulta store in the Nassau Park shopping center on a report of shoplifting. No items from the store were found on Mr. Pedretti, but a plastic vial containing marijuana was found in his pocket, police said.

A resident of Cottonwood Court reported Wednesday morning that an unlocked car was entered and approximately $103 was taken from a purse.
Neville K. Diony, 27, of Philadelphia was charged with hindering his own apprehension after his 1997 Nissan was stopped on southbound Route 1 about 10:52 Saturday because of an inoperative lamp, police said. Mr. Diony provided false information regarding his identity in an effort to conceal a suspended driving privileges, police said. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain lamps. He was lodged in the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in default of $1,500 bail.
Mario Santana-Diaz, 24, of New Brunswick was charged with hindering his own apprehension and unlawful possession of a weapon after police said his 1996 Toyota was seen weaving on southbound Route 1 about 10:53 p.m. Sunday. After the stop, police said he provided a false name and date of birth. Further investigation revealed a 6-inch knife concealed under the front seat, according to the report. He was also charged with failure to maintain a lane, refusal to inspect and driving with a suspended license. He was released pending a court appearance.
Joshua D. Wallace, 23, of Exeter, R.I., was charged with driving while intoxicated after his 2000 Honda was stopped on Dey Road about 1:50 a.m. Saturday for failing to maintain a single lane and having a cracked rear lamp, police said. Mr. Wallace nearly struck a barricade on Dey Road and continued to cross over the center line before he was stopped, police said. He was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and improper maintenance of lamps. He was released pending a court date.
