Local company’s documentary wins Emmy

FullMind Creative, LLC of Bordentown, won an Emmy Award last month for “Terror in Tulsa” in the Historic/Cultural – Program or Special category at the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in Philadelphia.
“Terror in Tulsa” was fully produced by FullMind Creative, hosted by Arthur Fennell of Art Fennell Reports, and distributed by The Comcast Network (CN8).
The documentary, which brings to life the events surrounding the 1921 Tulsa, Oklahoma, race riots, included historical reenactments, 3-D multi-plane photo animations, and interviews with riot survivors.
“Everyone worked extraordinarily hard on this project. We wanted to make this documentary different from others that had been produced on this event,” said Trevor Crafts, executive producer on the project.
“Our director of photography and editor, Larry Langton, had an outstanding vision of how the piece should look, and the soundtrack that Josh Frerichs, our composer created, added the final touches that made this piece unique and compelling. I was so pleased by the accomplishments of all involved, from Arthur Fennell, who had the original idea, to everyone that helped to bring this dark piece of U.S. history into light,” he said.
