POLICE BEAT: From the Oct. 9 edition

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP
    Police are investigating a one-car accident that injured a Titusville man early Sunday morning. Police said Charles Jones III, 55, had struck a tree in his SUV on Route 528 near Cemetery Lane. Police said Mr. Jones was extricated from the vehicle by rescue personnel and treated for injuries at Capital Health Systems in Trenton.
    Police said witnesses reported seeing the vehicle swerving before riding over the curb and striking the tree. Police said it is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
FLORENCE
    David J. Ramlow-Sachs, 18, of Massachusetts, was charged with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana, possession in a motor vehicle, possession of paraphernalia and making an improper left turn at 10:18 p.m. Oct. 3. A 17-year-old boy from outside New Jersey was also charged with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Police said Mr. Ramlow-Sachs was stopped at the Wawa parking lot on Cedar Lane for a motor vehicle violation and police found what they believed to be marijuana.
    Thomas R. Roch, 23, of Florence was charged on a warrant for contempt of court out of Allentown at 11:36 p.m. Oct. 3. He posted $500 bail and was released.
