BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — William E. Hamilton, 83, of Bordentown Township died Oct. 1 in Capital Health System at Mercer. He was born in Fieldsboro and had resided all of his life in the Bordentown area. He retired from RCA in Hightstown with more than 35 years of service as an electronics technician. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bordentown. He was a member of the YMCA Indian Guides, was active in the Bordentown Youth Leagues and the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mae (Bowker) Hamilton, two sons and daughter-in-law, Eric William and Kathleen Hamilton of Hamilton and David Hamilton of Bordentown; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Hamilton and Lisa and Jim Hudik, all of Bordentown; grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffrey, Kaitlin, Ryan and Colin Hamilton and Breanna, Brandon, Brady and Brielle Hudik and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday in the First Presbyterian Church, Bordentown. Interment will follow in the Bordentown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 435 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown NJ 08505.
