HIGHTSTOWN James L. Morrison Sr., 83, died Tuesday at Meadow Lakes.
Born in Trenton, he was a longtime area resident.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, and was employed with PSE&G for 37 years, finishing his career as the manager of the Mercer generating station.
He was a member of the Mercer Lodge #50 F&AM; former member of the Yardley Country Club, the Crescent Temple Shrine and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and a life member of VFW Post 8696 in Palm Coast, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” T. Morrison; sons James L. Morrison Jr. and Randolph K. Morrison of Hamilton; sister Julia Skeet of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Friends may gather between 12:30 and 1 p.m. today at the Colonial home.
