Mr. Bubien, 83, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 2, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was employed in corporate compensation for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick before retirement. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (Taraser) Bubien in 2000 and his two brothers, Richard Bubien and Edward Giedryc. Surviving are his three daughters, Theresa L. Nichols and her husband Thomas, Susan Thomas and Joan L. Bubien; a son, Walter Bubien; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in East Brunswick, followed by entombment at the Holy Cross Mausoleum in South Brunswick. Arrangements were by the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
