Work scheduled for Route 546

Project is expected to take 10 business days to complete

   Mercer County Department of Transportation will be milling and paving a section of Washington Crossing-Pennington Road (Route 546) between the Pennington Circle and Reed Road beginning on or about Oct. 14.
   The hours of operation will be between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The project is expected to take 10 business days to complete.
   Traffic going west on Route 546 from the Pennington Circle will proceed as usual, except that the westbound lane may be shifted during the work.
   Traffic going east on Route 546 will be detoured onto Reed Road, where drivers will go south. Motorists will be directed to make a left turn onto Ewing Township’s Charles Ewing Boulevard, which intersects with Route 31.
