Princeton Township 
   Thomas Hitch, 69, of Lawrence was charged with driving under the influence after police said they received a call about 8:30 p.m. Friday reporting an erratic driver heading south on Route 206. Police said they found a 2006 Toyota Camry parked on the shoulder of Route 206 near Arreton Road with damage to its right side after it went off the road and struck a utility pole. Following field sobriety tests at the scene, Mr. Hitch was charged with driving under the influence, police said. He was also charged with careless driving and failure to keep right.
   Joseph Jackson, 49, of Mercer Street was arrested about 10:14 p.m. Friday on a $190 warrant out of Ewing Township after he came to police headquarters to pick up a driver, Thomas Hitch, charged with driving under the influence, police reported. He was later released and drove Mr. Hitch home, police said.
   Marilyn Kristien, 36, of Hillsborough was arrested on a $120 warrant out of Rocky Hill after her 1997 Mercury Marquee was stopped on Route 206 for an equipment violation, police reported. She was released after posting bail.
   Terry Travers, 53, of Trenton was arrested on a $867 warrant out of Trenton after her 1998 Mazda 626 was stopped on Mount Lucas Road near Cherry Hill Road. Police said her license was suspended. She was released after posting bail.
West Windsor 
   Nichelle Ricks, 29, of Trenton was charged with theft from the Wal-Mart in Nassau Park shopping center on Friday. An employee, she is accused of stealing cash from her register over a period of time. She was released on bail.
   Victor Vasquez-Batz, 29, of Hamilton Township, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, being an unlicensed driver and having open containers of alcohol in a vehicle Friday after his car was stopped on southbound Route 1 at Nassau Park Boulevard about 12:30 p.m.. Police said they received a report of a black Honda Accord leaving the scene of an accident in Princeton Township, and then stopped a car of the same description driven by Mr. Vasquez-Batz.
   Alvin Higgins, 34, of Paterson was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane early Saturday morning. An officer observed his vehicle weaving on southbound Route 1 at Meadow Road, according to the report.
   Michael Rosso, 24, of Montgomery was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, reckless driving, improper window tint, driving an uninsured vehicle, and possessing a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. His car was stopped Sunday evening on southbound Route 1 at Alexander Road after police said they observed the tinted windows and a passenger throwing a lit object from the vehicle. Police said the smell of marijuana was evident inside the car following the traffic stop.
Plainsboro 
   George A. Blake, 26, of South Brunswick was charged with driving while intoxicated after his 2001 Cadillac Seville was was seen stopped on the 90-degree curve of Scotts Corner Road about 1:50 a.m. Friday, police said. Mr. Blake was found to be consuming cognac from a bottle and was determined to be intoxicated, police said. He was also charged with impeding traffic, reckless driving, consuming alcohol in a vehicle and having no front license plate.
