Norman Ruskin, 82,
of Princeton passed away at his residence on Monday, with his loving family at his side.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he moved to Forest Hills, Queens after marrying Wilma Lewis in 1958. In 1970, Norman and Wilma moved to Freehold. He has been a resident of Princeton for the past 19 years.
Norman served with distinction and pride in the U.S. Navy during WWII, where he commanded a landing craft.
Mr. Ruskin was active in the Princeton Community, working with the Red Cross, helping at blood drives and other charitable events and being a volunteer at the Medical Center at Princeton for 15 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Wilma Ruskin, two daughters and sons-in-law, Laraine and Keith Lesnik and Suzanne and Mark Wilhoite, two sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Felicia Ruskin and Alan and Stephanie Ruskin and 12 grandchildren Jeffrey, Jeremy, Michael, Shana, Jason, Larissa, Kyle, Taylor, Owen, Carly, Matthew and Justin.
A memorial service will be held today (Friday) at 4:00PM in the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street (Route 206), Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
