Tom Molnar ‘unfairly labeled’

Robert E. Tomenchok of West Amwell
Nov. 4, I will be casting my vote for Tom Molnar.
I have known him for many years and feel absolutely certain he is the better candidate to represent us on the Township Committee.
Recently, Tom has unfairly been labeled “pro-development” by his opponent. Tom supported and worked with his opponent to enact many of the standing ordinances he claims are protecting us.
The key difference is Tom has a basic respect for the opinions of other people. I see that lacking in his opponent.
In similar fashion, his opponent implied Tom did not help in the effort to get our tax money back from Trenton. The simple fact is restoration of our tax revenue was a community effort in which all residents worked together by attending the community meetings, writing letters and voicing our concerns.
To claim it was one person who accomplished this or that Tom did not help is simply untrue.
When you boil down the issues to their basics, both candidates are for preserving our rural character, and both candidates support lower taxes. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous; the key difference is how the candidates approach the issues.
I must for the record state I am a member of the West Amwell Elementary School Board of Education and am not speaking on their behalf.
