Albert Pavero, 62, died Thursday, Oct. 9, at St. Peter’s University Medical Center in New Brunswick.
Mr. Pavero was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in the Bulls Head section of Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Sayreville in 1986 and finally to Monroe in 1991. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves and was employed by Draper Associates in New York, where he worked as a printer for the past 35 years. He was a devoted sports fan and an avid gardener and record collector, but most of all, he was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather.
His father, Ralph, and father-in-law, Salvatore Pece, are deceased. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jeanne T. Pavero, of Monroe; his mother, Betty Pavero, of Massapequa, Long Island, N.Y.; his mother-in-law, Concetta Pece, of Monroe; his son, Christopher S. and his wife, Amanda M., of Pine Beach; two daughters, Lisa M. Curci and her husband, Richard, of Pine Beach, and Victoria B. Pavero and her fiancée, Joseph Notaro, of Jackson; two step-sons, John A. Rykala and his wife, Laura R., of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Anthony Rykala, of Monroe; a step-daughter, Lisa Fleites and her husband, Gerry, of Monroe; and 12 grandchildren, Gerry Jr., Christopher J., Philip A., Justin, Thomas, Alexia, Nicholas, Gracie, Jake, Gianna, Ava and Frankie.
Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 13, from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe. A funeral liturgy was at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood, followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Eastern Division, Inc.
