Antonietta Iadevaia

   Antonietta (Posillico) Iadevaia, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 12, at her home in Ellicott City, Md.
   Ms. Iadevaia was born in Durranzano, Italy, and came to the United States in 1953 and settled in South Liver where she lived for four years before moving to Monroe in 1957, where she spent most of her life before moving to Naples, Fla., in 1993 and finally to Ellicott City, Md., in 2006. She was cofounder and owner of Tom Iadevaia & Son Nursery in Monroe for 37 years before her retirement in 1993. She was a former parishioner at St. James the Less R.C. Church in Jamesburg, and St. Elizabeth R.C. Church in Naples, Fla.
   Her son, Michael Iadevaia, brother, Antonio Posillico, and two sisters, Michelina Zaino and Carmela Vigliotta, are deceased. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Tommaso, of Ellicott City, Md.; her son, Vincent and his wife, Anna, of Monroe; her daughter, Rosa Thierer and her husband, Andrew, of Ellicott City; her daughter-in-law, Rosa Iadevaia; her two sisters, Caterina Stasi of Matawan, and Giuseppina Stasi of Trevisio, Italy; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe, N.J., 08831. 732-521-0555.
