Freeholders have demonstrated financial leadership

   Somerset County Freeholders Peter Palmer and Bob Zaborowski record of responsible financial leadership is undeniable.
   Mr. Palmer and Mr. Zaborowski and their colleagues have reduced county debt, saving millions of dollars in interest expenses.
   Somerset County is one of only 43 counties in the entire United States with a Triple A Bond Rating, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in interest expenses.
   Somerset County is a leader in reducing taxes by the sharing of municipal services, saving nearly $55 million over the past three years.
   We both served as county freeholders prior to moving to the state Assembly. We completely understand the difficulty of maintaining balance between providing services, managing expenses, and responding to the needs of the public.
   Peter Palmer and Bob Zaborowski understand finances, are experienced in government, and have a record of conservative financial leadership and proactive constituent service. They have a record of achieving that balance for the people of Somerset County.
   In the face of some difficult financial times ahead, we can think of no more capable leaders for Somerset County than Peter Palmer and Bob Zaborowski.
