‘History of Carving’ set for Oct. 19

The East Brunswick Historical Society, 78 Milltown Road, will be hosting “The History of Carving,” from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 19. There will be wild fowl decoys, paintings and carvings be on display, as well as a presentation by Paul Dobrosky and Denis Hruza, two highly regarded carvers of North America. Kathy Marchut, president of the N.J. Wildfowl Carvers Association, will also be present. Refreshments will be served. For information, call 732-249-3522.
