MANVILLE — The Manville High School Key Club will hold its annual fall blood drive Monday.
The drive will be held in the Manville High School auditorium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is open to community members, school staff, and students over age 17, Key Club President Ana Castro said.
”Last year, we had about 20 to 30 percent of our students donate,” Ana, a senior, said. “They have to be 17, of course, but it’s really popular among the seniors.”
Ana said students donating at the drive receive a pass to come down during their gym or study hall period, rather than missing an academic class.
The Key Club typically holds three blood drives a year, during fall, spring, and summer.
Refreshments and entertainment, in the form of Disney movies, will be provided for donors, Ana said.
