East Windsor

   Lauren P. Bird, 27, of Princeton Arms Apartments, was charged Oct. 9 with prescription fraud. Police said they investigated a report of fraud at the CVS Pharmacy on Abbington Drive at 1:40 p.m., and found that Ms. Bird had posed as a physician and called in a prescription for 40 Vicodin pills before picking them up. She was taken into custody on Main Street in Hightstown, and later released pending court action.

   Nicholas Sanfilippo Jr., 20, of Millstone Road, Clarksburg, was charged Oct. 9 with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. Police said they stopped Mr. Sanfilippo at 12:30 a.m. on Route 33 near Twin Rivers Drive after seeing him fail to maintain a single lane of travel.

   Deanna D. Williams, 20, and a 14-year-old girl, both of the Colonade Motel on Route 130, were charged Monday with shoplifting. Police said they responded to the 99 Cent Store on Route 130 at 7:15 p.m. on a report of the two leaving the store without paying for $120 in merchandise. Police reported finding Ms. Williams and the girl on Route 130 near the motel, where they were taken into custody.

   Muriel Meyers, 70, of Melrose Way, Monroe, was charged Monday with shoplifting. Police said she left the Shop Rite on Route 130 at 8:25 p.m. without paying for $102.99 in groceries.

   Soledad Garcia, 24, of Windsor Regency Apartments, was charged Monday with shoplifting. Police said she left the Shop Rite on Route 130 at 8:25 p.m. without paying for $41.77 in groceries.

   A purple Mongoose bicycle valued at $200 was reported stolen from a garage in the 400 block of Dutch Neck Road between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10.

Hightstown

   Michael Clark, 24, of Wiltshire Drive, East Windsor, was charged Oct. 10 with contempt of court, possession of a schedule 1 drug, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   Police said they responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at 3 a.m. on Second Avenue, and found Mr. Clark in his vehicle and learned of a $156 East Windsor traffic warrant in his name. During the stop, police said they found multiple Ecstasy pills in the car. Mr. Clark was released upon posting 10 percent of $20,000 bail.

   Jacob Saperstein, 18, of Bethpage, N.Y., was charged Sunday with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, failure to observe a traffic signal, and failure to maintain lane.
   Police said they stopped Mr. Saperstein at 12:21 a.m. on North Main Street after seeing him drive through a red light at Franklin and Main streets and, while turning, enter the on-coming lane of travel. Once stopped, police reported seeing two burnt marijuana cigarettes in the car’s ashtray. Police said the borough K-9 unit found two baggies of marijuana in the center console, as well as a Tupperware bowl of ground marijuana, a grinder, and a pipe used to ingest the drug.

   David Larry Jones Jr., 34, of Hamilton, was charged Saturday with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana, driving while intoxicated, and several other offenses.
   Police said they stopped Mr. Jones at 1:57 a.m. on Academy Street for not having a working license plate light, and found the car’s registration was expired. Police said a search revealed a baggie of marijuana in Mr. Jones’ pants packet, and his blood-alcohol level was .10 percent.
   Mr. Jones also was charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, driving with an expired registration, and having a license plate light out.

   Darren Gee, 23, of Plainsboro, was charged Oct. 9 with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. His passenger, Cory Nelson, 21, of Gardenview Terrace, East Windsor, was charged with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   Police said they stopped the two at 1:29 p.m. on Morrison Avenue for failure to wear a seat belt and requested the K-9 unit, which found marijuana wrapped in a sandwich bag in the center console. A further search revealed additional packaging material and a pill grinder, police reported.

   Alan Musoke, 42, of Springfield, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and numerous related offenses.
   Police said they stopped Mr. Musoke at 2:01 a.m. on Franklin Street for driving through a red light at Stockton and Main streets. Mr. Musoke also was charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, refusal to submit breath samples, careless driving, reckless driving, disregard of a traffic signal, consumption of alcohol within a motor vehicle, and having an open container of alcohol within a motor vehicle.

   Willie Jones, 25, of Etra Road, East Windsor, was charged Oct. 9 with contempt of court and being a suspended driver. Police said they stopped Mr. Jones at 6:58 p.m. on Dutch Neck Road after a random license plate check revealed he was a suspended driver and had a $255 Trenton warrant in his name.

   Roberto Bonilla, 32, of Trenton was charged Oct. 8 with contempt of court. Police said they stopped him at 9:52 p.m. on Franklin Street after a random license plate check showed a $81 Trenton warrant in his name.
