Montgomery 
   Russell Feuer, 42, was issued a summons for failure to yield and careless driving Friday morning after a crash at the intersection of Route 533 and Belle Mead-Griggstown Road. Jeffrey Wewers, 60, of Piscataway was southbound on Route 533, while Mr. Feuer was eastbound on Griggstown Road. Mr. Feuer failed to yield to the right of way to Mr. Wewers, causing the crash, police said. Both drivers were taken from the scene by Montgomery EMS after complaining of chest pain.
   Three Long Island, N.Y., residents were arrested Friday evening for related drug offenses, police reported. The car they were traveling in was stopped after it ran a red light on Route 206 at the intersection of Griggstown Road, police said. Police said an odor of marijuana was detected inside the car and a search revealed marijuana and paraphernalia. John Russo, 18, and Michael Mahase, both of Hicksville, N.Y., were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a 17-year-old, also of Hicksville, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute. The driver, Michael Nicoletta, 19, of Syosset, N.Y., was issued summonses for failing to observe a traffic control device and possession of a controlled dangerous substance while in a motor vehicle. The adults were released on bail and the juvenile was released to a family member.
   A Harlingen Road resident reported Saturday that a McCain-Palin campaign sign was stolen from the front lawn sometime overnight. Saturday afternoon, a Dutchtown-Harlingen Road resident reported an Obama-Biden campaign sign was stolen from the front yard. The signs were valued at $10 and $5, respectively.
   Babette Pachence, 58, of Hopewell was issued a summons for failure to keep right Saturday night after a crash on Route 518 near the Montgomery Township Fire Company No. 2. Ms. Pachence fell asleep and drove into a light standard and telephone pole, police said. She was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center for evaluation, and her car was towed from the scene.
   Residents of a Rutgers Lane residence reported a burglary Saturday night. They returned home and found the front door had been forced open sometime between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and cash and valuables were missing. While investigating, police found someone had attempted to enter a house next door through the back door, but was deterred by the family dog.
West Windsor 
   A car driven by Brooke O’Brien, 19, of Hightstown was broad-sided by another car Oct. 14 after she disregarded a red light going east on Washington Road at northbound Route 1, police said. There were two passengers in her car, Pedro Lopez, 27, and Yamil Santiago, 27, both of East Windsor. Mr. Santiago was trapped in the right front seat and was removed by the West Windsor Fire Station 44. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. The driver of the other car involved, Keith Toth, 48, of Plainsboro was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. There was extensive damage to both cars, but there were no life threatening injuries, police said. The accident is under investigation.
   Michael Connors, 25, of Scotch Plains and Michael M. O’Conner, 22, of Plymouth, Conn., were arrested Thursday afternoon on charges of criminal mischief. A resident of Stuart Lane East requested a free estimate from a flier from the “Tri-County Masonry and Paving” company, which was left in her mailbox. The suspects arrived and began to hammer holes into the existing blacktop without the owner’s permission or knowledge, police said, and then attempted to force her to accept a deal to pave the driveway. The two also had fliers for “J C Landscaping and Paving and Masonry” out of Piscataway, police said. Fraud charges are pending, police said.
   Cash was stolen from two purses and a briefcase Friday at the Sarnoff Corp. offices on Washington Road. The cash, which was located in or under the desks of employees, totaled $420.
   A trailer owned by West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District was damaged extensively after a fire early Saturday morning. West Windsor police, Princeton Junction and West Windsor fire companies arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire, which may have been caused by the heating-air conditioning unit, police said. The incident is under investigation.
   She-Ra Garrisone, 22 of Trenton was charged with shoplifting from Wal-Mart at Nassau Park shopping center Friday morning. She hid $207 worth of clothing inside a container, police said, and proceeded through the self checkout line, paying for the container but not the clothes.
   Someone attempted to break into the rear passenger window of a 1999 Ford van and gain entry to the vehicle while it was parked on Stillbrook Lane. The incident, which occurred between 9 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 a.m. Monday, is under investigation.
   A wallet containing credit cards and personal items was stolen from a stroller Sunday afternoon while the owner was shopping at the Pottery Barn in MarketFair shopping center. The incident is under investigation.
Plainsboro 
   The Trenton owner of a 2004 Mercedes parked at the Bristol-Myers Squibb parking lot at 777 Scudders Mill Road reported several scratches to two doors and a trunk. The damage occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Friday.
   Ajay K. Methuku, 39, of Winterberry Way, West Windsor, was charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle was stopped on Scotts Corner Road about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday after it was seen going through a stop sign and not maintaining proper lane, police reported. He was later released to a friend pending a court appearance.
