Help Army recognize veterans with package

Are you an Army veteran? Do you know one? Would you like to help formally recognize them for their service to our country?

Freedom Team Salute is an official Secretary of the Army recognition program with two missions: To honor all Army veterans for their service and dedication to the Army, and to help soldiers formally thank those who support them in their service.

You can help the U.S. Army achieve its vital missions by honoring any Army veterans you know with a Freedom Team Salute commendation package.

Recognizing the powerful impact that a simple “thank you” can have, the Army started Freedom Team Salute in May 2005.

Now the selfless service, loyalty and sacrifice of Army veterans (as well as those who support today’s soldiers — parents, spouses and employers) can be formally recognized.

By honoring someone with a Freedom Team Salute commendation package, you are helping to strengthen the Army community and recognize those who have given so much to America’s Army.

Those honored will receive an official Army Freedom Team Salute commendation package, which includes a certificate of appreciation and a personalized letter of thanks from the Secretary of the Army and the Army Chief of Staff, an Army lapel pin and Army decals.

All material is provided at no cost to either the nominator or the recipient.
